The central overview

Accessibility for your website — explained clearly.

BFSG, EAA, WCAG, platforms, tools — this is where it all comes together. Whether you want to know if you’re affected, what you have to meet, or how to implement it: from here you’ll find the right path.

Accessibility in three layers

Law, standard, implementation — once you keep these three layers apart, the whole topic makes sense. Here’s how they fit together:

1 · The law (Why)

Laws require you to be accessible. In Germany the BFSG, EU-wide the European Accessibility Act — both apply to consumer-facing digital products and services. BFSG (Germany) · EAA (EU) · Am I affected?

2 · The standard (What)

The laws don’t define their own technology — via the EN 301 549 standard they reference the WCAG. They set out what “accessible” concretely means: testable success criteria at Level AA. Understand WCAG 2.2

3 · The implementation (How)

On your actual site it gets practical: find and fix real issues, an on-screen menu for visitors, an accessibility statement — tailored to your platform. Shopware · WooCommerce · Contrast Checker

Real accessibility instead of fake compliance

An overlay widget alone does not make a website compliant — even authorities confirm this now. We focus on finding and fixing real issues instead of covering them up. Honest towards you and towards your visitors.
