Plain language – understandable for more people.
Some content is hard to understand for people with learning difficulties, cognitive impairments or limited language skills. The plain-language add-on turns your pages into a simplified draft – which you review, adjust and publish yourself. No automatic overlay running in the background, just real content you have approved. You add it per page on top of your plan and pay only for what you use.
Plain language is not a legal requirement of the BFSG for the private sector – but it makes your site usable for far more people. We would rather tell you honestly what is mandatory and what is added value.

Questions about billing & plans
Is there a permanently free version?
Yes. The free version includes the visitor menu with the core tools, never expires and requires no credit card.
How much do the paid plans cost?
Pro is €49, Business €99 and Agency €249 per year. At launch there are also one-time Lifetime licenses (€149 / €299 / €599) for the first 50 customers. All prices exclude VAT.
How is it billed?
The annual plans are billed yearly, securely via Stripe; Lifetime licenses are a one-time purchase. Payment data is processed by Stripe, not by Welcoma.
What is the plain-language add-on and how is it billed?
It creates a simplified draft of your pages in plain language, which you review and publish yourself – no automatic runtime overlay. You add it per page on top of your plan (e.g. 100 pages) and pay only for what you use. The first 5 pages are already included in Pro. Pages come as an annual package (renews) or a one-time credit that never expires.
Do I need plain language for the BFSG?
In the private sector, plain language is not mandatory – the BFSG is measured technically against WCAG / EN 301 549. It is required in the public sector (BITV 2.0). For everyone else it is genuine added value, not a compliance checkbox – and that is exactly how we sell it.
How can I cancel?
Pro, Business and Agency are annual subscriptions: you cancel at the end of the paid term, after which nothing renews — there’s no minimum commitment beyond that. The free version doesn’t need cancelling, and Lifetime licenses are one-time purchases with no subscription.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Prices are exclusive of statutory VAT where applicable; the final amount is shown at checkout.
Do I need a credit card for the free version?
No. You register, connect the plugin with a key and get going — no payment details required.
